This article describes the hardware supported and tested by entrello for ticket printing, kiosk systems, ticket scanning, and payment terminals. In principle, compatible devices from other manufacturers may also work; however, the models listed below are recommended.
We generally support EZPL-compatible Godex printers. The following models have been tested by us and successfully used:
Godex RT-700
Godex DT4x
Rebranded variants from labelident, e.g. BP4x
These printers are particularly suitable for fast and reliable printing of admission tickets and labels in event operations.
Boca printers using the FGL protocol are also supported. The following have been tested:
Boca Lemur
Boca printers are widely used and reliable, especially for classic ticket printing (e.g. continuous or single tickets).
For self-service kiosks (e.g. ticket sales or check-in), the following requirements apply:
HDMI connection
Power supply via 5V USB, comparable to devices such as a Chromecast
Sufficient brightness for the respective deployment location
Depending on the use case:
Indoor screens for use inside buildings
Outdoor-capable screens for outdoor use (higher brightness, weatherproof housing)
Important: The choice of the right kiosk screen depends heavily on the installation location and lighting conditions.
We support common Android and iOS devices in combination with the entrelloGo app. This solution is particularly suitable for flexible entry situations and small to medium-sized events.
For higher scanning speed and better recognition rates (e.g. in poor lighting conditions or with damaged tickets), we support professional Zebra scanners with enhanced camera technology, including:
Zebra TC-21
Zebra TC-26
These devices are especially suitable for highly frequented entry points.
We support the Stripe WisePOS E payment terminal. Payments are credited directly to the customer’s Stripe account and are therefore a regular part of entrello payouts.
Advantages:
No need for individual booking of card payments
Clear, consolidated settlement
Particularly attractive for smaller businesses that do not want to perform separate payment reconciliation
We also support payment terminals using the ZVT-700 protocol. Tested devices include, for example:
Ingenico Move 5000
These terminals are especially suitable for existing POS and payment infrastructures.
The devices listed above have been tested by us and are officially supported. Other devices with compatible protocols or interfaces may also work, but they are not part of our official support scope.
